Kentucky Families with Food Allergies
Support Group
Kentucky Families with Food Allergies is a support group for parents affected by severe food allergies. We are based in Lexington, Kentucky. Our purpose is to give Central Kentucky families the opportunity to network, in order to share ideas and strategies for safely managing life-threatening food allergies. We are associated with the national organization Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE).
We hold support group meetings several times a year. If you would like to contact us, or be added to our contact list, please email KyFoodAllergies@insightbb.com.

Our group has been invited to attend the Governor's signing of HB 172 which allows Kentucky schools to stock epinephrine injectors for emergency use. This bill was introduced by Kentucky State Representative Addia Wuchner whose grandson has a life-threatening food allergy. Kentucky Families with Food Allergies advocated for the passage of this bill, which is an important first step in ensuring the safety of all Kentucky students.
